Through comprehensive and consistent quality management that goes beyond the legal requirements, we guarantee sustainable top performance at all levels. The aim of ISAR Klinikum is to continuously improve the existing level of quality and the performance of all areas. In addition to medical quality, patient safety in the hospital is of particular importance.

Planning, implementing and measuring our quality helps us to avoid mistakes and continuously improve. We document this process.
We regularly publish a detailed and comprehensible quality report as a basis for informed patient decisions. In this way, we create transparency, comparability and provide orientation.

The ISAR Klinikum impresses with a new, forward-looking healthcare concept: by combining state-of-the-art technology and innovative medicine with individual, personal care, the well-being of patients is at the heart of the clinic’s philosophy.

The management has set itself the goal of establishing a new generation of clinics with the ISAR Klinikum, which is characterized by special added value for all patients – regardless of whether they are insured or private patients. Clinic structures have also been established that allow international patients to be cared for according to their cultural needs. After all, patients should feel comfortable and well advised.

At the ISAR Klinikum, patients are treated by highly qualified specialists from 12 different specialist areas who work closely together. In this way, the clinic guarantees outstanding interdisciplinary medical care coupled with great time savings and short distances.

Patients benefit from transparently regulated and efficient processes that are based on the latest medical knowledge and patient safety. Departmental processes are constantly reviewed and strategies for continuous improvement are developed. Weak points are identified and measures are initiated to avoid them. Suggestions and new ideas are always welcome in order to increase patient satisfaction.

The quality and risk awareness of employees is promoted, quality management is seen as a management task and is supported and practiced by all managers. Risk management is seen as an integral part of quality management. Patient safety is ensured by recognizing and dealing with risks in good time. The retrospective analysis of critical events is an important tool for recognizing and avoiding errors in patient care. An internal hospital reporting system (CIRS Critical Incident Reporting System) has been established for this purpose.

The aim is to be a reliable and long-term business partner for the various interested parties. We value open and constructive communication and cooperation in order to achieve optimal processes. We see digitalization at ISAR Klinikum as an opportunity that contributes to better networking, process automation and paperless documentation. At the same time, we guarantee a secure IT infrastructure.

The management style at ISAR Klinikum is characterized by close cooperation between managers and employees and mutual respect. Employees’ skills and ideas are incorporated into the design of processes. Employees are supported through targeted, practice-oriented internal and external training and further education. The health of our employees is supported by company health management measures. There is openness towards the concerns and needs of the individual with the understanding that the goal is the success of the company.

These are regularly analyzed and weaknesses and potential for improvement are identified in order to improve cooperation and communication between the individual departments. Processes are checked for risks and suitable avoidance strategies are defined.
  2. Process results are recorded, evaluated and measures are taken in the interests of continuous improvement.
  3. Cooperation with external partners is maintained, intensified or newly created in order to increase the efficiency of the ISAR Klinikum for the benefit of patients.
  4. The service concept is an essential component of patient care.
  5. Patient care is provided in accordance with the latest medical and nursing knowledge. In order to ensure and further develop the high quality standard, staff are trained through targeted further and advanced training measures. The knowledge is maintained and passed on within the company.
  6. Unnecessary consumption of resources is avoided, also in the interests of the environment. Standards have been developed and are applied.
  7. An open and systematic information policy is maintained. Meetings, conferences and interdisciplinary exchanges are integrated into everyday life.
  8. Structural conditions and technical equipment are adapted to changing internal and external conditions and target fulfillment is reviewed.

The ISAR Klinikum was certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. This international standard focuses on customer orientation, the continuous improvement of corporate structures and processes as well as the identification of risks – in healthcare facilities, especially with regard to patient safety.
