Central areas

Central Procurement is divided into strategic and operational purchasing. Among other things, strategic purchasing deals with obtaining and negotiating offers, evaluating suppliers and service providers and coordinating with the purchasing group.

Operational Purchasing is responsible for ordering and receiving goods for the ISAR Klinikum’s daily requirements, as well as supplying all wards and departments with the relevant goods.

Energy management at ISAR Klinikum ensures that the energy policy is implemented and constantly increases energy efficiency.

The Finance department covers the areas of finance, controlling, medical controlling and revenue management.

In addition to cleaning the entire hospital building, the housekeeping service at ISAR Klinikum also includes laundry and catering services.

This extensive area is divided into two departments and is also managed by two team leaders.

The ISAR Klinikum’s marketing and public relations activities include internal and external communication as well as the positioning of the hospital in the public eye. The Marketing department develops targeted strategies for presenting the hospital, designs information materials and coordinates advertising measures. Press and public relations maintains contacts with the media, prepares press releases and organizes events. Referral communication ensures a regular exchange with doctors in private practice and other partners in the healthcare sector and supports close cooperation for the benefit of patients.

The kraussfirmengruppe GmbH & Co KG team is your contact for all matters relating to occupational health and safety at the ISAR Klinikum.

The company’s waste management officer, Ms. Agnes Holzheu, advises and informs company employees on all matters relating to waste disposal.

The Occupational Medicine department advises the hospital management, supervisors and employees on all matters relating to health, occupational safety and accident prevention. The Occupational Medicine department also works closely with the Occupational Safety and Hygiene departments to ensure a safe working environment for ISAR Klinikum employees.

The data protection department deals with the applicable data protection regulations and compliance with them by the employees of the ISAR Klinikum. All patients of the ISAR Klinikum must be able to trust that their data will be handled with care.

In addition to implementing hygiene requirements in the care standards and advising staff accordingly, the Hygiene department also monitors the implementation of recommended hygiene measures and the implementation of recommendations in supply and disposal areas.

The Sustainability department deals with all of the hospital’s environmental services and their continuous improvement.

Quality management at ISAR Klinikum takes care of all organizational measures that ensure the improvement of our services, processes and products. The staff unit primarily has an advisory role for all managers and employees at the hospital. The Project Management staff unit is also integrated into QM, which coordinates and supports all internal operational and strategic projects as well as coordinating and supporting external project partners.

The Legal department advises hospital employees on medical law issues. It is also responsible for drawing up, processing and reviewing contracts, such as treatment contracts, contracts with doctors and consultancy agreements.
