Information for interns & trainees
Nursing internship at the ISAR Clinic
We offer medical students nursing internships at the ISAR Clinic as part of their training before starting their studies or during the semester break.
Information about the internship
- Duration: at least 30 days consecutive
- Work on the interdisciplinary wards from Monday to Friday (also at weekends by arrangement if necessary) in the early shift (07:00 – 15:30) and late shift (12:00 – 19:30)
Student trainees at the ISAR Clinic
After passing the first stage of the medical examination for medical students, we offer medical traineeships in the following specialist departments:
- General, visceral and minimally invasive surgery
- Anesthesia and intensive care medicine
- Vascular surgery
- Gynecology / Pelvic Floor Center
- Cardiology
- Orthopaedics and trauma surgery
- Plastic surgery
- Urology
Application
Please send us the following documents with your online application:
- Complete curriculum vitae
- Cover letter (exact internship period and, if applicable, request of the specialist department)
- Valid certificate of enrollment
- Proof of sufficient vaccination against measles (certificate from family doctor)
IMPORTANT:
Sufficient vaccination protection against measles only exists after two vaccinations at intervals of eight or four weeks before the start of the internship. The internship cannot be started without proof of the aforementioned vaccination.
Worth knowing
- Uniforms are provided
- Unfortunately, overnight accommodation is not available
- Our clinic is not a teaching hospital of the university
- A written confirmation of the internship will be sent by post after completion
