We regularly publish a detailed and comprehensible quality report as a basis for informed patient decisions. In this way, we create transparency, comparability and provide orientation.

PATIENT SAFETY AND RISK MANAGEMENT
The safety of our patients is our greatest asset. The current recommendations and guidelines on patient safety form the basis of our actions. We pay particular attention to medication safety, emergency management, evidence-based medicine and technical equipment. We promote a constructive and open approach to potential errors and risks in order to learn from mistakes and systematically minimize risks.
PATIENT SATISFACTION
The satisfaction of our patients is a high priority for us and is derived from our work. In order to improve the quality of our services, patient feedback is systematically recorded, analyzed and used to make improvements.

INFECTION PREVENTION AND HYGIENE
We ensure the minimization of infection risks through strict hygiene management. Our comprehensive MRSA screening prior to treatment and the firmly established antibiotic stewardship at ISAR Klinikum deserve special mention.
PROTECTION CONCEPT AGAINST VIOLENCE
The ISAR Clinic is aware of its duty to protect the patients, accompanying persons, external persons and employees entrusted to its care and offers the best possible protection against all forms of abuse and violence with a protection concept against violence and abuse, divided into prevention, intervention and processing.

This international standard focuses on customer orientation, the continuous improvement of corporate structures and processes as well as the identification of risks – in healthcare facilities, especially with regard to patient safety.

Quality Medicine Initiative (IQM)
Routine data, transparency, Pree Review – for the best possible medical treatment
ISAR Klinikum is a member of the Initiative for Quality Medicine (IQM).
IQM is a cross-carrier initiative open to all hospitals in Germany and Switzerland. The aim is to improve the quality of medical treatment in hospitals for all patients.
The joint consensus of the members consists of the following three principles:
- Quality measurement with indicators based on routine data.
- Transparency of the results through their publication
- Recognize and implement potential for improvement through peer reviews
In doing so, we voluntarily go far beyond the existing legal requirements for quality assurance and set standards in the interests of the best medicine and the greatest possible patient safety.
