Outpatient operations
Preoperative preparatory discussion
As part of the pre-operative preparation (data collection, anesthesia consultation, further medical examinations if necessary), we will discuss all the important information regarding outpatient admission with you.
Please make an appointment for pre-operative preparation, preferably a few days before your outpatient procedure. This will allow us to assess any questions regarding your health and ensure the highest possible level of safety during your stay with us. Please note that you must attend this appointment in person. Relatives are welcome to accompany you, but they cannot act as a proxy for you.
As part of the pre-operative preparation, all relevant personal data will first be compared with you by the patient admission staff and the treatment contracts for your hospital stay will be drawn up. This is followed by the actual anesthesia consultation, in which your general state of health is first determined. We will then explain the possible anesthetic procedures and the corresponding risks. The last point of the preoperative preparation is to carry out any necessary examinations (blood tests, ECG or further diagnostics). Please note that the complete pre-operative preparation can take one and a half to two hours, depending on the work involved and the current number of patients.
You will find the rooms on the first floor of the ISAR Klinikum. If you have any questions, please contact our reception staff, who will be happy to help you.
Please bring the following documents with you to your premedication appointment:
