Optional services
Optional services are special services that can be selected in addition to the general hospital services. Optional services are agreed separately in writing and can generally be used by any patient.
However, please note:
The use of elective services is generally covered by private or supplementary insurance. Patients with statutory insurance cover must bear the corresponding costs themselves.
Please clarify the scope of services and cost coverage with your private or supplementary insurance before your stay.
If you would like to make use of optional services during your inpatient stay, please contact our staff at the patient admission desk.
Elective medical services
If you wish, you can receive medical treatment and care from the head physician responsible for you or their deputy. Elective medical services also include all accompanying medical services, such as anesthesia and laboratory tests. It is not possible to restrict elective medical services to one head physician.
The costs will be invoiced separately after the inpatient stay in accordance with the scale of fees for doctors (GOÄ).
Please clarify with your health / supplementary insurance company before your stay in the clinic whether you are insured for elective treatment.
