ISAR Klinikum is located at the heart of Munich. The clinic is a few minutes’ walk from Karlsplatz (Stachus) square, the Sendlinger Tor gate and Munich’s historic centre.

The location and transport links are also ideal whether you’re travelling by car, train or plane. The attractive location close to the historic Sendlinger Tor gate provides patients and visitors alike with the opportunity to explore the city centre on foot. Arriving by car

Parking is limited due to the central location of isarklinikum. However, there are several car parks in close proximity to the clinic where you can park for a fee.

We would be happy to reserve a parking space for you in the ISAR Klinikum’s own car park. Please contact our reception as early as possible to confirm availability. The parking fee is €15 per day.

Arriving by train/public transport

ISAR Klinikum is just a few minutes away from Munich’s main railway station and can be reached either on foot or by taxi. When travelling by train, please select the Munich main station as the destination. You can find the best connections at the Deutsche Bahn service centres or on the website at

There are several public transport stops in the immediate vicinity of isarklinikum. We can be most easily reached from the stops Sendlinger Tor (by tram, metro U1, U2, U3, U6: 2-minute walk) or Karlsplatz/Stachus (by tram, metro U4, U5 and all S-Bahn connections: 8-minute walk). Arriving by plane

ISAR Klinikum can be reached quickly and easily from Munich airport by car, bus, metro and S-Bahn. Up-to-the-minute flight and other travel information can be found on the Munich airport website.

After you land, you can best reach the ISAR Klinikum using the fast services offered by MVV (see ‘Public transportation’). The journey takes about 45 minutes. The journey time will be more or less the same by taxi.
