Anesthesia Team

We are a highly motivated team of doctors from all sectors of anesthesia, and specifically trained anesthesia nurses and caregivers.

We ensure best possible anesthetic care before, during, and after outpatient and inpatient surgeries. Top quality is our daily standard. This standard is accomplished by interdisciplinary cooperation with all specialties, an infrastructure of highest quality, and the use of state-of-the-art technical equipment for diagnosis, therapy and monitoring.

We administer more than 12,000 anesthesias per year, in 12 operating rooms and 4 minor surgery rooms (cardiac catheterization laboratory, gastroenterology, etc.). All modern anesthetic procedures are used at these interventions.

Our intensive care unit, equipped in accordance with the current standards, has 10 intensive treatment sites.

An acute pain team (consisting of an anesthetist with advanced training in pain therapy and a pain nurse) ensures you have no pain before, during, or after an operation, and also administer treatment for chronic pain. In this regard as well, we are your contact persons.

Recovery room
In our modern recovery room, which is as bright as day, you will be monitored and cared for after the operation. The duration of your stay here depends on your operation and your general condition; it is usually 1-3 hours.

We have facilities to take care of 10 patients simultaneously.

Pain service/Pain nurse
Our pain service consists of specially trained anesthesia nurses who are in charge of your care after an operation, in case you have received a pain catheter (Regional anesthesia).

In this case you will be visited at least once a day by our pain service, who will check your well-being and the state of pain, the settings of pain pumps, which they will re-adjust if necessary, and check injection sites and dressings at the site of the pain catheter. Besides, our pain service will discuss and plan your further treatment with you. An anesthetist will be available round the clock for you and for the treatment of your pain.
